Des Moines Arts Festival [ Nurturing A Students Vision ] Iowa's free three-day celebration of the arts

Des Moines Art Center's Nurturing a Student's Vision: Celebrating Artists K-12
Sponsored by Hubbell Homes

Artwork from some of Central Iowa's youngest artists will be on display as Hubbell Homes, in association with the Des Moines Art Center and the Des Moines Arts Festival, presents Nurturing A Student's Vision: Celebrating Artists K-12 Student Art Exhibition. Students from kindergarten through high school will be featured in the exhibition, which highlights the creativity and diversity of Central Iowa students.

In addition, a jury will select five student entries to be featured on banners that will be displayed during the Festival. Participating schools will also be eligible to win one-of-five $100 awards for art supplies, sponsored by Hubbell Homes. Each participating student receives a free Student Membership to the Des Moines Art Center and a Certificate of Participation. Two students will be presented Des Moines Art Center scholarships and a family membership to the Art Center.
